The Southern California Development forum is an association of professionals in real estate, design, engineering, finance and construction who meet monthly to informally share their ideas, interface with dynamic speakers discussing topical issues, and open doors to new opportunities.
The Southern California Development Forum (SCDF) was formed in 1984 to provide leaders in the real estate community an opportunity to keep abreast of development trends, issues and challenges. With several hundred members, the SCDF is composed of commercial and industrial developers, real estate attorneys, financial institutions, corporate land-use planners, architects, engineers, general contractors and the real estate leaders of Southern
California's entertainment firms.
These individuals and their guests convene at a monthly forum, featuring timely, thought-provoking presentations and panel discussions focusing on a broad array of challenging issues. Topics range from the local political landscape, to legislative changes, the environment, education, tourism and land-use planning, in essence, anything with the potential to impact the development process in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the:
Luxe Summit Hotel Bel Air
11461 Sunset Blvd.
Los Angeles, California 90049
Informal networking begins at 7:15 a.m. with the program and breakfast commencing at 8 a.m. and adjourning promptly at 9 a.m.
